Im putting this on all the boards just in case by some miracle you all have heard of someone having this.

A neighbor of ours has a 2 year old kid who has something really weird going on with her. She tries to scratch her own eyes out.. i mean not just like scratching an itch but she'll make her eyes bleed. She also will scratch herself and pull her own hair.

She attacks her sibling too like as if she wants to kill her.

The parents dont have enough money or even insurance so they cant really take their daughter to a doctor let alone a specialist. They dont have the internet so cant even look things up on their own.

Anything anyone can think of will be helpful cus im gonna look it up. Shes a really cute little girl and really sweet. But she'll just suddenly have one of these violent fits and the doctor already said there was nothing physically wrong with her the one time she went.

there was a tv show on about that a couple of days ago its called self-distruction and if she was jus pullin on her hair its called "trichotillomania" but since shes doin both its called "self-distruction" but if i find out any more information on about it i'll let you know

yes, the obsessive hair pulling is trichotellomania....


and cutting..or hurting oneself.... is a form of obsessive compulsive...disorders....out there...


she needs some help..and there are charitable health organizations out there......


get them to ... the library.... or you download and print...and county health services..or their school districts have...intervention programs from birth


thats all i know..but even a penniless parent has options for their children.... adults have a harder time with that stuff

i wonder if colleges or universities would look at her for cheaper... i have no idea if they would do that kinda thing but i know u can get your teeth done at the university of toronto for much cheaper.... so ya might wanna tell them to call... but i'm not sure if they do that sorta thing there cuz it's a lot different then havin teeth pulled
